(December 21, 1920, Leningrad - January 21, 2009) Tamara Kravtsova graduated from LGITMIK in 1947, she studied singing together with [a=Galina Vishnevskaya]. In 1946, being a student, she became a laureate of the 2nd All-Union Contest of Variety Artists. After graduating from the institute, she was an artist of the Lengostrada, and since 1948 - a variety theater of miniatures. In 1958, Kravtsova moved to Moscow and began to work at the Mosconcert. Tamara Kravtsova gained fame as a pop singer with lyrical songs ("The distant bonfires are burning", "Do not be sad", "Autumn", "Autumn leaves", "Silence") and songs of the peoples of the world, as well as a performer of musical feuilletons consisting of dialogues, scenes, songs, couplets, game reprises ("In a department store", "Teacher", "My Motherland"). The friendly parodies of [a=Клавдия Шульженко] [a=Изабелла Юрьева] [a=Тамара Церетели] [a=Рина Зеленая] had great success with the public. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1968).
