Chris Smildiger

Dutch bass player, pianist and clarinetist, born 2 March 1929 died 21 October 2010 in The Hague Before his music career, he was a track and field athlete. He was member of [a=The Dutch Swing College Band] from October 1967 to February 1970 He was member of the following Groups: Ultra Marine Jazzband Dixieland Pipers (1956-1957) Quintet Jan Morks (1961-1963) Down Town Jazzband (1965-1966) Dutch Swing College Band (1967-1970) Swing Combo Tonny Nüsser (1971-1975) Swing Society (round 1975) Reunion Jazzband (1975-ca.1993) Millers Sextet (round 1977).
