Though Josh Anderson is a graphic designer and cartoonist by trade, in the 90's his first step into music was a mock-band called The Crud Rockers (Josh Anderson, Wes Anderson and Aric Harper) and he started learning guitar with PiRho Park. In college he joined a college ministry's worship team as the bass player and then with several of the guys from that team formed the Christian rock band Kerusso (Jared Johnson, Wes Anderson, Josh Anderson, Jesse Denison and Jade Prigge). They released one album called The Alpha Demo in 2001. During this time he formed Airborne Jellyfish with guitarist Jesse Denison. After those years Josh wrote some solo songs and put them together under the title "Josh Anderson - Waiting" He then joined roommate Stephen Wallace (aka Stevo, aka Septi Wilbur) to form a garage band called Junk Town. He was then invited to be a part of Jake Wilkinson's Unicycle (Jon James, Brain & Charity Meinhart, Harmony Ward, Jeff Kirtland, Nate Ralston). This is where he began the association with the moniker "Yosh". Years later Yosh took several hundred blog posts he wrote during the Jake Wilkinson's Unicycle years and retooled them as vlogs on YouTube in which he wrote all original score-type music to. This music is set to be released on its own in late 2024.
