Felix Knight

American tenor vocalist, actor, and vocal teacher. Born November 1, 1908 in Macon, Georgia, USA. Died June 18, 1998 in New York City, New York, USA. [b]For Puerto Rican operatic singer, often mistaken as, see [a3271954] [/b]. He spent four seasons with the Metropolitan Opera Company (1946-1947, 1949-1950). In the late 1930's-early 1940's, he sang with the Victor First Nighter Orchestra. In 1948 he sang with the Leo Reisman Orchestra. In acting, he is best known for his role as Tom-Tom in the 1934 Laurel and Hardy holiday musical film [i]Babes in Toyland[/i].
