Porter is a Mexican experimental indie rock band in May 2004, from Guadalajara, Mexico. They are representatives of the emerging indie scene in Mexico, considered one of the most important bands in Spanish-speaking in the last decade. Their music is supported by experimental structures and melodies influenced by musical genres such as noise pop, experimental rock, electronic music, new age soundtracks and films, leading them to participate in stages of international festivals such as Coachella, SXSW and Vive Latino. Throughout their career, they managed to sell over 170,000 physical copies of their studio albums, and more than 30 million views on official YouTube videos. With remarkable talent, they were nominated for "The Latin Grammys" (Alternative Album of the Year and Video of the Year), "MTV Milenial Awards." His LP, Moctezuma was released worldwide in May 2015, nominated for the "Latin Grammy", awarded as "Album of the Year" by IRMAS (Indie or Music Awards). They are currently promoting their latest album, Las Batallas.
