Loquillo Y Trogloditas

Rock 'n' roll, pop rock band from Barcelona, Spain. When [a664252] was drafted for enforced conscription, his first band [a2980787] dissolved. The only remaining member of Los Intocables was [a1307957], and he formed a new band called Los Trogloditas alongside [a1307958], [a1307956] and [a1307967]. When Loquillo came back, the new band was known as Loquillo Y Trogloditas. After their debut album [m577504] (1983) was met with a very positive response by the public, Loquillo Y Trogloditas would go on to become one of the most famous Spanish bands of the 1980's, with 11 studio and 3 live albums released over their entire career. Their 1989 album [m444554] surpassed 300.000 sales in the first weeks of its release, and it remained for 5 months of that year among the ten best-selling albums in Spain, peaking at #3 in August. The band would dissolve in 2007 after one last show on the 30th of June in which they were the supporting band of [a20991].
