MART (30)
Mart is a band from Vipava Valley, consisting of Nejc Franca on drums and percussion, Rok Velikonja on keyboards, Jani Peljhan on bass, Ram Cunta on guitar and Igor Vuk behind mixing desk. Their music draws energy and ecstasy from the chaos of the universe, looking at things from their positive and somewhat absurd side but still finds depth and solitude at unexpected places. Songs that are without lyrics leave the whole world to the listener’s interpretation. A genre that is undefined leaves the whole world to the musicians. Mart exists from 2005. in 2008 they released their debut album Parallele and made a multimedia play with the same name in collaboration with local artists. After several years of absence, they are now returning with new releases and back to concert stages.
