Franck Pasquotti

«Nature gave him a fantastic ear…he offers his skills with intelligence and generosity to any artists he works with». That’s what Samsa and Serge Llado said about their collaboration with Franck Pasquotti. As a digital audio specialist and electronic musician, he is a new kind of technical artist giving different type of services : recording, mixing, mastering, audio restauration and sound design. Given his wide musical culture, he can adapt himself to any type of project. As a sharp audio-professionnal consultant for many artists, labels and studios, Franck can handle any project using high technological musical instruments (DAW and synthetizers) as well as analog and digital audio treatment processing tools. Even though he has no frontiers of style of any kind; he has nevertheless a strong background dealing with modern and traditional black music coming from a working trip in the french West Indies where he collaborated both with gwo-ka (a traditionnal percussion from Gwadaloupe) and biguine bands. Franck was born in 1974 in Paris. He fall in love with music when his parents offered him his first turntable. He dug into funk, jazz, soul, drum & bass, hip hop or reggae ‘s crates to create a large vynil and CD collection. He used this musical heritage while working in high standing lounge bar in Paris as a DJ for experimental shows with a jazz quartet. After University, he decided to sharpen his technical knowledges by integrating the school of audio engineering S.A.E, Paris. This academic and practical background provided him rich and strong knowledge. At the same time, he ran his first project studio where he offered his services to different labels and artists. He improved his digital audio skills through post production (AKAI DD1500 / digidesign Pro tools operator) training session in C.M.I (Paris). He also worked as an audio professionnal demonstrator and fitter and from time to time gave musical software classes. He has been mixing and/or mastering engineer for various artists and indie labels like SAMSA (world music), Dj Doze (Hip Hop R&B), Stuck in the sound (Rock), Hip Hop French pioneers artists like Mouvement Authentique, Jo Di Bona & Hotel … As a creator and sound designer he is currently working on soundbanks projects with the french producer Hedayat, he made some jingles for websites and radio (Radio Nova – France) and works for different indie labels like Ocean Audio or the deutsch sound communication agency Renommée. As a free lance engineer he also collaborates for a small TV show. Franck offers his technical and artistics services to any the people in love with music and art in general, eager to bring a professional and original touch to their creation.
