Stefano Vicentini
Italian classical bassoon player, born in Bolzano in 1962. He graduated with highest honours from the Coservatorio di Musica Claudio Monteverdi in 1981. From 1981 to 1983, he was Solo Bassoon with [a=I Solisti Veneti] performing in South America and throughout Western Europe. From 1983 to 1985, he was Prinicpal Bassoon in the [a=Orchestra Del Teatro Alla Scala] in Milano. In 1986, he taught at Indiana University and performed recitals in Chicago, New York, Cleveland, Indianapolis and Bloomington. He teaches at the Bolzano Conservatorio and plays First Bassoon in the [a=Orchestra Del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino].
