Halid Muslimović

Bosnian folk & folk/pop singer, songwriter, music composer, musician and producer. Born 21 January 1961 in Prijedor, Bosnia and Herzegovina (then Yugoslavia). He is considered to be one of the best-known and best-selling folk singers in the former Yugoslavia. He is also considered to be among the progenitors of turbo folk genre. His 1985 album, "[i][m=1149979][/i]" was sold in over 500 000 units and was, at the time, the third best-selling album ever in former Yugoslavia. He is married to [a1023209]. The couple has two children, son [a=Enis Muslimović] (who is CEO of [l=HFW Production]) and daughter Lejla Muslimović. Footballer Kenan Muslimović is his nephew. He was founder and owner of [l=Halix], [l=Musik Produktion Halix], [l=Halix Produkcija] and [l=Halix Records].
