Steve Allen

British vocalist Steve Allen is mostly associated with two different bands, [a=Deaf School] (late 1970s) and [a=Original Mirrors] (1980-1981). He also performed on recordings with [a=Clive Langer & The Boxes]. For a few years, Allen continued as a solo, backed by [a=The Boxes]. Allen sang in a short lived group called Samurai that included [a=Pete Farndon] and [a=Topper Headon]. During 1984-1989 he released a number of singles, often recorded in collaboration with Italian producers. He then turned to management with [a=Espiritu] which was signed to [l=Heavenly] in the UK before taking up an A&R post at Warner UK (WEA at the time) in the mid 90's running the very successful [l=Eternal] label.
