Neon Hitch

British singer/songwriter Neon Hitch has been performing since the age of four when she joined the French Circus, Archaos. At age 10, Neon began writing her own music and was encouraged by her boyfriend to pursue a career in singing. By the time she was in her teens, Hitch had put her dreams of becoming a musician on hold as she toured Europe performing as a trapeze artist, fire swinger and stilt walker. She then moved to India for a few years before resettling in London to finally start her music career. It wasn’t long before Neon was discovered on by celebrated pop producer Benny Blanco, who flew her to New York to work with him, and the rest is history. Watching Neon Hitch perform her latest single “Gold” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in August, it’s easy to see why The New York Post has declared that she "has all the elements of an A-list female pop queen" and why Idolator featured her as one of their “Top 11 Women about to Pop.” Neon released a free download of her EP, Happy Neon, on January 14, 2013 for her fans, followed by a second EP, 301 to Paradise on January 3, 2014 to tie over the wait for her debut album Eleutheromaniac slated for a release in Fall 2014.
