Yves Cerf

Swiss saxophonist, born in 1955 in Bern. Yves Cerf studied violin at the Geneva Conservatory of Music and later South American music in Peru. In the 1980s he started playing saxophone and studying composition working at the C.I.M. in Paris and playing with jazz musicians in France. Among others: 1974-79 flutist of the Bolivian orchestra "Los Jairas", 1981 musician at the Medrano Circus, 1984 Composition prize of the SACEM, 1985-90 member of the SMAC group 1990-97 innumerable performances with the Fanfare du Loup and with "Antano Costa" by Nelson Rojas (Salsa).
